These are photographs scanned from old daguerreotypes and tintypes. The people here are from my Father’s side of the family. Two were taken from his mother’s (my paternal grandmother) side of the family in Scotland.
- You may recognize the two people seated at center from the previous portraits. Rebecca Winfield Moore Chambers. is at far right and her Grandparents, center. Her father, George, is standing. The woman at left is unknown but close examination of the full size scanned images lead me to believe she is the younger sister of the woman second from the right. Or perhaps not…
- Campbell MacKillop and his first wife Margaret. Taken about 1872, in or near Glasgow Scotland The parents of the two children in the previous picture.
- Charles MacKillop (My Great Grandfather) at left at about 3 years old. “Grandpa Mac” was my Father’s Maternal Grandfather, whom I remember knocking about my Grandparents house in Wyncote PA with a cane and a smelly pipe. He passed away when I was 5-ish. At right, his sister Margaret Hoagland (Aunt Peg) Taken in or near Glasgow Scotland about 1876.
