Sometimes I can be a bit of a spelling nazi. Not to the point of being an asshole about it, mind you. Probably the result of being raised by a school teacher and a scientist. But I am getting better, I swear. That said, I think I have found a nit that begs to be picked.
A couple of weeks ago I bought this ’94 Chevy S10 and noticed something odd about an indicator on the dashboard.

Did you mean gauges?
Because a “gage” [defined by Wikipedia] is “…a stone fruit tree in the genus Prunus, subgenus Prunus…”
But nothing about “…a measuring instrument for measuring and indicating a quantity…”
I hope GM has hired some engineers since 1994 who can spell.
